Some versions can also feature famous and iconic people and characters to fit the special interests of different kinds of people.

The many variations of Monopoly can have the mechanics of the game substantially change such as building additional properties that are beyond houses and hotels or devaluing the properties of the opponent by building additional negative structures such as sewage systems. Some monopoly variations are even sequels of the original game.

The electronic versions of Monopoly are typically accessible through video game consoles, personal computers, mobile phones, and tablets. These Monopoly games are usually designed with good sounds and animated graphics for a more appealing and fun experience. The electronic device can automatically roll the dice and assist trading of properties on a separate window. The player can also choose to play against the computer through AI programs.
